1. Sepivel business subscription
Sepivel sells a 12-month software subscription to businesses, paid upfront. Renewal is manual, so you can decline it without any further charge. Stopping the service early does not entitle you to a refund of the unused time. The consumer rules on returning goods do not apply to this business subscription. If your accepted agreement gives you a guarantee or contractual remedy, or the law gives you a statutory remedy, that applies.
If you were charged twice, billed incorrectly or the service failed, contact support@sepivel.com with your agreement reference and payment date. Please do not send card details. We review the facts against your accepted agreement and tell you our decision. If a refund is due, we pay it back by the original payment method where possible, within the period set by your agreement or the law. Your bank or card provider controls how long the money then takes to arrive.
The business subscription terms set out the refund of prepaid fees if we terminate for convenience or you terminate because of our unremedied material breach. Nothing on this page limits mandatory rights under the law of your country, such as UK or Australian law, that apply to your purchase, including consumer guarantees that can cover some Australian business purchases.
2. Returns and refunds for goods bought from merchants
When you buy goods through a Sepivel storefront, the merchant named on your order is the seller and your contract is with them. Each merchant publishes its own legal name, contact details, returns address and the countries it serves. Contact the merchant first about a return or refund.
Buying in the UK. If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have the right to cancel for any reason:
- You can cancel up to 14 calendar days after the day you receive the goods. Tell the merchant in writing, for example by email.
- You then have a further 14 calendar days to send the goods back. Unless the merchant has agreed to pay, you pay the cost of returning them.
- The merchant refunds the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 calendar days. If the merchant has not offered to collect the goods, that period starts when it receives the goods back or you provide proof that you sent them, whichever is earlier. If the merchant collects them, it starts when the merchant receives your cancellation notice.
- Some goods cannot be returned for a change of mind, for example goods made to your specification, sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened, and perishable goods. The merchant states any such exception on the product page.
Faulty or misdescribed goods. Your legal rights are not affected by the above. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you can ask the merchant for a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery.
Buying in Australia. Australian consumer guarantees apply to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. For a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement, and for a minor failure the merchant can choose to repair or replace. Australian law does not give a general right to change your mind, but a merchant may offer one in its own policy.
